Rona has over twenty years experience in the field of therapy and Social Care working directly with children and families. Her broad experience has encompassed her working both in the UK and Australia. It was in the early 1990's that she began introducing the 'Solution Focused' approach into her work with families in crisis. Rona has also worked as a Manager and Trainer within Social Care, delivering training to many agencies including G.Ps, Police, Armed Forces and Social Care.
Keen to understand the power and workings of the mind Rona has studied Neuro Linguistic Programming to Master Practitioner level and went onto study Hypnotherapy with Uncommon Knowledge at Brighton University. She also qualified as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, something which she finds extremely useful for her clients.
Most recently Rona has qualified as a Stress Management Consultant and now offers Stress Awareness Workshops to individuals, groups and corporate clients.
She is fascinated by the way in which our minds influence our everyday states and shapes our lives. Believing wholeheartedly in the adage "If you think you can or if you think you can't, you're probably right" (Henry Ford) she enlikens the mind to an untrained dog. Does yours drag you round the park taking you to places and situations you'd rather not be in or could you take yours to Crufts and be an inspiration to others?
As an experienced Hypnotherapist Rona always works in accordance with the General Hypnotherapy Register Code of Ethics
